Welcome to our new website! There’s still a lot of work left to be done, and a lot of older things to re-imagine, but we’re getting there!
Why make a new website? Well, the old one has been patched onto for years and is no longer what I’d consider to be stable (hasn’t really been in a long time). It’s long overdue that a complete and total rework is done, and while I do like the look of my last rework, the new one’s definitely much closer to what I’ve been meaning to make the site; featured news posts, responsive loading times, and just an overall better user experience.
As for other SHG projects, we’ll see. The next thing on the list after the site rework is probably a new Discord server. I still don’t know whether or not if I even want to get back into community moderation stuff since the last few years have been hell for me, so it’s really up in the air at this point. I’ll likely have more motivation on the matter when new and interesting game servers, such as Hytale, come around. The experience I now have from both SHG and BT will allow us to create a server that can create an amazing environment for the players where feedback/suggestions are actually implemented, while also simultaneously keeping the staff appreciated and engaged. But again, we’ll see.
